Li Cossi: a beautiful romantic cove is hidden between pink granite rocks, reached by a panoramic road with breathtaking views, crystal clear sea and flowing river Li Cossi. It is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the area.

Li Baietti: the closest access to the sea from the house, a beautiful stone cove with natural swimming pools, ideal for swimming, snorkelling, diving, fishing and romantic sunsets.

Cala Tinnari: a wonderful secluded beach reached via Li Cossi along the coast. Take sturdy shoes and get ready for a hike, it’s a 3.8 km walk from us. Your reward will be a beach where no one is, and if by sheer chance there is, there are many accesses to the sea and small private beaches along the way:-)

La Sorgente: A beautiful rocky cove in three levels descending to the sea. Crystal clear water, ideal for snorkeling, underwater photography, because there is much to observe — schools of fish and beautiful vegetation. Be sure to bring water shoes with you.

La Marinedda (close to Isola Rossa): by car 16 km, a beautiful beach with white sand dunes is surrounded by red granite rocks and is a popular destination for surfers. An international surfing competition is held here every year at the end of August. Right on the beach you will find two bars, where excellent cooking is served during lunch in season.

Cala Sarraina: This beautiful unspoiled cove with a sandy beach is located near the Costa Paradiso (approx. 15 km) and is famous for its beautiful rocky granite cliffs that change color from pink to orange to red and crystal clear water. It is an ideal place for snorkeling, diving and fishing.

Cala Canneddi | Cala Rossa: A smaller beach, more neglected by tourists, all the nicer and guaranteeing crystal clear sea. Sunbeds for rent and a bar available in the sandy area. Water shoes with you, especially if you go into the sea in a part of the rocky coast.

San Pietro a mare near Valledoria: 30 km by car, a wide sandy beach suitable for wandering, running, kite surfing and other water sports and entertainment. The river Coghinas flows into the sea here. It creates various bays and shallow lakes, which will certainly be appreciated by children and those who like still and warmer water. Here it is possible to rent paddle boats, boats, kayaks.

Baia delle Mimose from Valledoria towards Badesi and the connecting beaches of Pultu Bianca and then Li Mindi and Li Junghi below the town of Badesi (excellent to combine with shopping in MD or Superconcas) and Li Feruli ending at the cliffs.

A beautiful corridor of bushes and trees takes you to the more secluded Portobello Nord beach, 20 km from Costa Paradiso, at least even in July we counted the number of tourists on one hand 🙂 Coarse-grained sand, excellent snorkeling and beach volleyball with children without disturbing anyone.. .Be sure to bring your water shoes.

28 km distant beach from Costa Paradiso, which is almost empty even in the high season 🙂 Beautiful sand, but also pebbles, stones and a more deserted character make it a pleasant stop for her more famous friends Rena Majore and Rena Bianca (highly sought after by tourists). .. Easily reachable within 3 minutes from the road/parking lot right next to the road, where nothing is paid.

A wonderful wide beach (31 km from Costa Paradiso) with fine sand, sand dunes and crystal clear sea and abundant marine life. There is a lot to see:) More frequented by tourists, expect a paid parking lot and park only where it is allowed. Otherwise you risk a fine, or a bike stuck in the sand… Facilities are available in the form of toilets, a restaurant/bar and sunbeds on the beach.

The town beach at Santa Tereza di Gallura is gorgeous — that is, if you’re not going in high season, but it’s still worth stopping here and walking around the town. You can park in the parking lot right next to the beach (1 EUR/hour), entrance to the beach is charged. Toilet facilities, shower, refreshments available. The azure color of the initially shallow sea beckons for water fun, the fine white sand for building castles and a walk around the Torre di Longonsardo offers incredible views of the surroundings.

Rena di Ponente beach on the narrow “neck” of the Capo Testa peninsula (from Costa Paradiso 42 km) is worth visiting on the way from Santa Tereza di Gallura and getting wet in the waves, we liked the lighthouse on Capo Testa hill and the surrounding landscape with views: )

Beach as in “Caribbean” 23 km far away from Costa Paradiso and accessible through a fragrant pine forest and perfect especially for families with small children. Fine sand, gradual entrance, coastal edge approx. 1 meter consists of pebbles. A small bistro with seating by the beach. For us, one of the nicest sandy beaches in the ring around Costa Paradiso.

Sardinia Home tip

In Sardinia you can find beaches of all types and everyone can really choose their unique one. Sandy with different grain sizes from coarse to really fine sand, stony or just swimming pools hidden in rocks. In season, of course, you have to count on the fact that you will be sharing the common space with many other people on the famous beaches.

Famous beaches are worth visiting at the end of the day or in the late afternoon if you want more privacy both on the beach and in the water. On the other hand, during the day, smaller deserted beaches are ideal, sometimes more difficult to access or just neglected by the masses:) However, Sardinia is so diverse and the coast seems endless that you will always find something for yourself… However, it would be a shame not to head inland as well. It is worth visiting the mountain towns and villages further away from tourism.

We recommend taking water shoes with you on your trips. Sardinia offers a number of different beaches and underwater days, rocks, entrances to the water that are a must. That is, if you don’t stay in just one place for the entire stay, namely the sandy beach… We have beach chairs and umbrellas for you to rent for free, so that the siesta on the beach is perfect:)
