How to get to Costa Paradiso?
Direct flights from Prague to Olbia
Direct flights from Prague to Olbia and back are available through the airline company Smartwings for the year 2025 from 25. 5. until 19. 10. You can always fly on Wednesday or Saturday. It is about 90 km by car from the airport to Costa Paradiso (1.5 hours). You can rent a car at the airport, but especially in the high season, book it in advance, you can also on the website Smartwings.
Direct flights from Bratislava to Alghero
Direct flights from Bratislava to Alghero and back are available via the airline Ryanair, which for this year flies from 30. 3. until 25. 10. every day. It is about 100 km by car from the airport to Costa Paradiso (1.5 hours). You can also rent a car at the airport, but especially in the high season it is better to book it in advance, it is also possible on the website of the airline Ryanair.
Transfer from the airport
We can request/arrange a possible transfer from/to the airport.
Tip
If you don’t mind the more time-consuming option with a transfer, you can of course also get to Sardinia. An excellent option for those who travel really light, or have already sent part of the family on a trip by car. Even in the season, however, you can fly this way for a reasonable price.
By car
You can get to Costa Paradiso by car from many Italian ports with various ferry companies if you prefer to use your own car on holiday or if you have a lot of things with you (bikes, surfboards, necessary equipment for children:)
We are most comfortable with the connection from Livorno, where you drive approx. 1,000 km (11 hours by car) from the Czech Republic, to the Sardinian port of Olbia. The ferry sails for 7 to 10 hours depending on the specific voyage, it is ideal to use the comparator of individual transport companies on directferries.com or purchase directly from the shipping company, e.g.

You can buy a cabin where you have access to sanitary facilities and you can also order food in the dining room in advance with the purchase of tickets (depending on the time you travel: breakfast/lunch/dinner). For us, it is definitely more comfortable to travel by ferry for the night with a cabin (children under supervision:) and in the morning you are full of energy to set off to discover the beauties of Sardinia.
The price of the ferry depends on a number of factors: when you buy/sailing, what type of car and how many people you are traveling with, from where and to where, with a tow or a pet (experience with Grimaldi Lines). We recommend that you buy the ferry in advance, you can buy it on the spot, but it can also be sold out or you will pay the most expensive price.
